Can’t fill the house from fireplace to kitchen with noise. It’s good enough. Might end up using MacBook Pro and cables to control media rather than dedicating a new Mac Mini. I can use iPhone as an iTunes remote. Ordered a couple of long cables that can be used in either situation.
Wacom Intuos4
I’m getting me one of these, Wacom Intuos4. Glad I put off my insurance replacement a bit, or else I’d be sad with the perfectly awesome intuos3. Turns out Wacom released a better different version right about the time I decided I needed to replace my burned up one. Jumped the gun and ordered direct from Wacom, Amazon sells it for almost 20 bucks less.
No Arby’s for dinner
Mattress people will be delivering my new mattress and box spring tomorrow… what did they say, between 4 and 6 pm. Never had such a short delivery time frame, they better show up. Paid a ton for that mattress. I’ll probably get the runs during my first night sleeping on it. No worries, I bought a shit proof mattress pad at the same time I bought the new mattress. Better not eat any Arby’s before I put the pad on.
OSX on MSI Wind Nettop
It works! Sort of. No options to change the display to widescreen or the resolution from within OSX. Big problem with it is no audio. I might get a Plantronics 480 for a quick fix for the lack of sound. If I have to fuss around anyway I think I’ll use Ubuntu on it primarily.
Lemond G-force RT
Getting anexercise bike delivered on Monday. Not a cheap thing, but it’s worth it for my health, and to hang clothes on. Getting a good deal, a lot less than retail. Thing is damn comfy might just sit on it to watch tv and never pedal. Seems to be a lot more adjustable than the “Consumer Reports” winner. I tried them both out at a local store, not buying something that pricey without a test.

Radio AM 1710 Antioch OTR
Radio AM 1710 Antioch OTR. I listen to this stream while I go to sleep, and if I can’t sleep it’s usually something I haven’t heard before. I do it in a high tech way, stream using FlyCast connected via wifi on my iPhone and plugged into a Memorex speaker dock. Have to say that I haven’t found anything much funnier than Jack Benny on the radio ever.

Plenty loud. Guess the folk at avs forum have bigger spaces than I do. Surprised the pigs haven’t showed for several reasons.
